This is the rocket blog of Jeff Jones.
I am a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, former Lion, past Double Agent in the Geek Squad, very amateur magician, student of personal productivity systems, escapee of Iowa, museum trained, former President of multiple organizations, world traveler,Toastmaster, retired son of the former Renaissance Festival Mayor, currently unemployed (know of any jobs?), and amateur rocket scientist-in-training.
The Mosquito comes from my first days of rocketry. I was one of the founding members of a rocketry club started at the hobby store in Maplewood Mall back in the mid 1970s. Most of the rockets I build were Estes Mosquitos. Small, easy to build, and cheap. important to a 5th grader.
I will be posting things of interest in rocketry, and probably other stuff. It might also be occasional posts from my daughter Jenny, also a new rocket enthusiast.
